A special request

Posted by: momlovesbeingathome | Comments (4)

Hey, all!  How is everyone out there in bloggy land?  Long time no see around here right! :)   Well, life just keeps me pretty busy.  Plus, I’ve been having a little more fun with my facebook page lately so I’ve kind of neglected this. :)   Anyway, I have a question for you.  I just recently got a Sam’s card again (after MANY years without one) and I was wondering if any of you have a “must have” list from Sam’s.  Are there any things there that you think are super great deals?  Anything that is better to buy there than anywhere else?  If you have some ideas I’d love to hear them!!

And I actually have a couple of other ideas for posts so you may even see me on here again soon!  ;)

New beginnings

Posted by: momlovesbeingathome | Comments (8)

I’ve kind of been thinking about where I want to go with this blog lately.  I haven’t spent much time on here in awhile and honestly I’m just not as interested as I used to be.  I don’t necessarily want to shut it down or anything -  I might have something I want to say from time to time  ;)    -  I just want to do some new things in addition to this.

My husband wants to do a blog with me where we write about things in life such as marriage, church, kids, etc.  I think we’ll probably start that pretty soon so if any of you are interested in that let me know and I’ll let you know when we start it.

My husband has also been trying to get me to write a book for a while.  I suppose if he’s crazy enough to think I can do that I ought to at least attempt it!  haha!  So, I might be spending some time doing that.

Another thing that has changed for me is that I’ve gotten into Facebook.  It’s a lot of fun because it’s people that I know in real life and we just chat with each other and stuff.  It’s also something that I can just share one sentence and be done whereas here I feel like I need to write a bunch or it’s not worth it.  It’s just different than this.  I enjoy reading everyone else’s blog still and commenting when I have time but for some reason I just never know what to sit down and write here.   Know what I mean?  Maybe I just need somebody to give me a topic list!    Anyway, all that to say that I’m going to also start a new blog that I’m going to link with my Facebook page.  It will be a blog where I share things on a more personal level – something I haven’t really done here as that was never my intention with this.  I’m not going to make it a public blog like this one is.  It’s not really “private” because it will be online but I’m not going to have it in search engines and stuff like that.  I just want to share with people that I want to share with.  Does that make sense?  So anyway, if you are somebody that I “know” and have commented back and forth with and we read each other’s blog and you are interested I’d be happy to give you the blog address.  Just leave me a comment or e-mail me and let me know.  If you aren’t interested that is totally fine and you will not hurt my feelings.  ;)

So, that’s what’s going on for me right now!  Of course, there’s a whole lot more but this is a start. :)

The 99 things meme
