I’m still alive
ByAs you have probably noticed, I have not been blogging in quite a while. I don’t know if I just got tired of it, if I got too busy for it, or if God just totally turned my attention elsewhere because I was a little too consumed with the blogging world. I very much enjoyed blogging while I was doing it and I especially enjoyed meeting so many great people through it. It just seemed to take a back burner in my life for awhile. A back burner WAY back in the back.
I’m still not sure if I’m going to continue or not. I was thinking as I started to type this that it would be somewhat of a goodbye but I’m finding that it’s kind of cathartic to sit and write my thoughts again so who knows. Maybe I’ll pick it back up but just not let it become such a focus of my life.
I guess I could give you an update on my life- for those of you who are interested anyway.
So here it is in a nutshell – life is going really well right now. My husband is working with some new people and is loving it. His income went up along with it and I’m loving that.
My daughter finished her softball season and has retired from the sport. She has moved into cheerleading and is cheering for our homeschool football team. She’s loving that and they look great doing it! Speaking of the football team, my son is playing on it – this is his first time to play football and he’s really enjoying it. They had their first game a couple of weeks ago and it was so fun to watch him play and watch my daughter cheering. We won the game too so that made it even better.
I got to go with a friend and work a booth at a convention in Salt Lake City recently. That was a whole new experience for me – being away from my family, standing on my feet all day, making my own money.
It was a lot of fun though and I really enjoyed it. School started back up in the middle of August and we’re rolling right along now. I’m on the leadership team at our co-op and that’s been fun. I just started on it in April and I’ve learned lots of stuff and had a good time with it. We are starting to get plugged in at a church and I’m excited about that. I’m ready for the kids to be a part of something great again. It’s been awhile and it makes me kind of sad for them.
Well, I know I could probably go on and on but I guess that’s enough for now. Maybe I will get back into this. Maybe I have plenty to say since I’ve not said anything in months.
Thanks to those of you who e-mailed and commented while I was away to say that you missed me. That means so much to me.

But really it’s nice to have you back. Hope it continues. And glad everything seems to be going so well for you and your family!

About the election – I think it better be McCain or we’re in trouble!!!
