New curriculum
ByI have been looking at a new curriculum for history and somebody told me about ‘Mystery of History.’ So far, from what I’ve seen it looks great! Does anyone have any pros or cons to share about it?

We use this!! We LOVE this!! It does something that I was always lacking–it puts Bible happenings in order with each other AND with the rest of the world-it is not seperate timelines but one big overall view-it also is written so well that I use it for my whole class together! (9th,7th,4th and 1st graders plus a preK and a few hangers-on!) I can’t wait until we get to the part of our timeline where we take gold cord and trace Christ’s line down to the beginning of time! How cool will that be! We have all diff types of learners and different levels of desire for history and this works for us!! Even if you just buy it to read it you will love it!!
We’ve been loving Story of the World. This is our 5th year. We’re using it with History Odyssey from Pandia Press. I think Mystery of History follows the same chronology, but from a Biblical perspective. It looks good. I haven’t heard any complaints about it. Enjoy.
dandelionmom, thanks so much for sharing that!!! That’s so exciting to hear!
That’s the main reason I think it looks so great too – to know the history of the world and the Bible as they fit together sounds wonderful!
mrshannigan, hello and welcome! Thanks to you too for sharing your information! It’s so much appreciated!
